The Fire Walk with Me

Installation of glass objects at the Designblok festival was the very first presentation of the new Vitrum Vivum glass casting technology on the domestic scene. The central piece of the installation, inspired by the imagery of David Lynch and the distinctive surrealist poetics of his films, was a massive pile of logs made of uranium glass glowing under rays of UV light which heated up a red glass stool standing nearby. The whole scene was observed by 77 faces – mysterious masks from Lynch’s films.
