Extincta Natura 01

Extincta Natura refers to a whole range of not only plants that have become extinct and ceased to exist. The glass cast represents a found cast of ancient flora, just as archaeologists search for prehistoric trilobite casts in rock layers. The painting is then a kind of attempt to search for a new species. The clash of ancient worlds and the delicate painting of organics strongly complements the uranium glass.
